For the ultimate World War Brick experience, we encourage visitors to purchase a Weekend Pass. This entitles the bearer to participate in all three days of exciting programming, the ability to display their creations, and get a goodie bag filled with exciting loot. Programming for Weekend Pass holders takes place from 9am to 9pm Friday and Saturday, and 9am to 5pm on Sunday. Weekend Pass holders must be at least 15 years of age or accompanied by an adult parent or guardian who has also purchased a Weekend Pass. We limit the number of Weekend Passes sold each year to help guarantee a more enjoyable experience for all our participants. Weekend Passes have been known to sell out and we encourage advanced purchase to avoid disappointment at the door.
This is what the Weekend Pass entitles the bearer:
- Ability to display your creations and be eligible for building trophies
- Goodie bag with T-shirt, raffle tickets, and more
- A discount coupon good for your purchase at the World War Brick or GHQ stores
- A seat on the charity auction held Saturday night, featuring donated rarities from our sponsors
- The best raffle drawings of the weekend!
We are also creating a huge lineup of activities for Weekend Pass holders at World War Brick 2022. These include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Brickmania new kit reveal by the Brickmania design team
- Micro Brick Battle Tournament & King of the Hill Slug Fest
- Group mosaic builds
- Weekend Pass Holder’s Swap Meet
- Informative workshops hosted by skilled mentors
- More TBA.
IMPORTANT NOTE: All Weekend Passes for World War Brick 2022 are now SOLD OUT. You can still come to the public exhibition of World War Brick by purchasing advance tickets HERE.
Charity Raffle Tickets
Ever since our very first World War Brick was held in 2012, we have dedicated each event as a charity fundraiser for veteran’s organizations. Over the years we have raised tens of thousands of dollars through our activities, raffles, and charity auction. Each Weekend Pass holder will receive 10 raffle tickets in their goodie bag (you will receive it when you check in). These raffle tickets can be used at any of the various raffles throughout the weekend (hint: the raffles held during Weekend Pass–only hours have better prizes). You will also be able to use them for carnival games during public hours to win cool prizes, and as an entry “fee” for some activities. Additional raffle tickets will be available for purchase for $2 at the WWB store throughout the weekend, with 1/2 of the proceeds going to directly benefit our charity drive (the other half to keep WWB functioning).

Weekend Pass holders are eligible to register for a bracket style tournament of a fast-paced tabletop Micro Brick Battle game. Matches will take between 30-45 minutes, and winners of each battle will be eligible to advance to the next battle. As the battle progresses, new weapons will be introduced for an added twist. The grand champion will receive a custom World War Brick trophy. The tournament begins Friday morning and winners will advance through additional challenges throughout the weekend, with the Grand Champion crowned at the closing ceremony. – Weekend Pass Holder Event / Entry fee = 1 ticket. Limit to first 16 raffle tickets drawn. Uncalled raffle tickets will automatically be put into contention for King of the Hill tournament
Micro Brick Battle “King of the Hill” Tournament
Weekend Pass holders not competing in the Micro Brick Battle game are eligible to register in the Micro Brick Battle “King of the Hill” Tournament. Four players will be eligible to participate in a blitz match of “King of the Hill”. There will be four initial Blitz matches. Matches will take between 30-45 minutes and winners of each battle will be eligible to advance to the next battle. The Micro Brick “King of the Hill” game can played by most ages and the outcome is determined by a combination of tactics and luck. All participants will receive one raffle ticket per battle played. The grand champion will receive a custom World War Brick trophy. The tournament begins Friday morning and winners will advance through additional challenges throughout the weekend, with the Grand Champion crowned at the closing ceremony. – Weekend Pass holder Event / Entry fee = 1 ticket.

Games and Prizes
All day long at World War Brick there are games to participate in, and prizes to win. When you’re between activities, jump in a game for a chance to win a prize. Entry fee = 1 ticket.

Brickmania founder Daniel Siskind will be available for a question and answer session regarding the future of Brickmania, creating custom LEGO® kits, building displays, or whatever you have in mind to ask.
Chess Tournament
We’re bringing our own special chess sets, but will be playing the same old strategy game we all love so much. The tournament will be played on our custom made World War II themed chess boards. It will be simple eliminations, with the champion being the winner of three straight rounds. – Weekend Pass holder Event / Entry fee = 1 ticket.
MOC Awards
Weekend Pass holders are encouraged to bring their MOCs (My Own Creations) to display at World War Brick. All MOCs are eligible for awards, but you must fill out a MOC card to be eligible for prizes. For a pre-printed MOC card you must register your MOCs by Sunday, June 5th. Pre-Registering your MOC helps us make sure we have space for everyone, and pre-registered MOCS get priority placement. When you register a MOC please enter in one of the following categories:
- Aircraft
- Watercraft
- Land Vehicle
- Fantasy / Sci-Fi
- Individual Diorama
- Group Build
- Micro Scale Build
Trophies will also be awarded for additional categories by the World War Brick staff and may include…
- NPU (Nice Parts Usage)
- Most Iconic Scene
- Most Over the Top

MOC Awards trophies will be placed next to the winning MOCs on Sunday morning before the doors open to Weekend Pass holders. – Weekend Pass holder Event
Mosaic Build
We are going to build three new panels in our military heroes themed mosaic for World War Brick. This year’s mosaics will be:
- TBA
- TBA
- TBA
We have seats for up to 36 participants at a time, and we will let new people begin panels as others are completed. Panels should take no more than 20-30 minutes to complete. Additional panels can be made, but people who have not yet turned in World War Brick vouchers will be given priority selection over repeat participants. People who complete second or third panels will receive a raffle ticket for their effort.
The Mosaic Build will take place each day during World War Brick. The Mosaic Build is open to all Weekend Pass holders. No additional registration is required. – Weekend Pass holder Event / No Entry Fee
Speed Build Competition
Weekend Pass holders can sign up to test their building mettle against each other. We will provide identical kits for the competition, then it is up to you to prove your building skills. Compete against other weekend pass holders and build a Brickmania kit as fast as you can. Everyone wins, but the fastest and proper build will walk away with a bonus prize. – Weekend Pass holder Event / Entry fee = 1 ticket.
Mission Project Benefit Auction
Just some of the items donated to the auction this year. There’s also five different raffles, World War Bingo and the Prize Wheel to spin — meaning lots of chances to win great prizes!
World War Brick has been dedicated to supporting our veterans since the first one was held in Chicago in 2012. Many activities such as the raffle and auction are specifically designed with fundraising in mind, with proceeds being sent directly to our designated charity. For 2022 we have chosen The Mission Project as the benefit charity we’re donating proceeds to from the auction and raffles. A Weekend Pass is required to participate in the auction, so make sure you have yours today.
