  • Went for rides in Brickmania’s 2 1/2 ton truck

Flak 37

We’re pleased to show these preview pictures of the 2014 event kit: the German 3.7cm Flak 37 anti-aircraft cannon.  Every Weekend Pass holder will find on of these guns in their goodie bags… But there’s a catch; the minifigs shown will NOT come with the kit!  Instead we are making speciel-edition custom Luftwaffe crewmen for the guns, which you can get in one of two ways: 1.) You can complete a 10×10″ panel of the Cobra King mosaic and get one for FREE our 2.) You will be able to purchase extra crewmen. Some additional kits wand figs will be available for sale at WWB, but they will probably go as fast as last year’s exclusive Jeep kit!

We will be holding a benefit auction during World War Brick to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project. The auction will be happen on Friday evening and will be open to all Weekend Pass holding attendees. Items to be auctioned include prototype models, rare kits, and other cool items donated by WWB sponsors, attendees and supporters.

A few of the rare Brickmania kits and instruction book donated for the auction.

WWB attendees will also be able to earn raffle tickets by participating in various activities and can put into the raffle pool for the prizes of their choosing. You can increase your odds of winning by purchasing additional raffle tickets – with all proceeds going to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. There will be raffles during both public days, but the best prizes will be awarded during the auction on Friday evening.

The next World War Brick military-theme LEGO™ fan convention will be held on the weekend of June 20-22, 2014.  We will once again be convening at the Brickmania Toyworks in Minneapolis, MN USA, home of Brickmania custom LEGO kits. We are in the process of evaluating what worked at this year’s convention and will strive to make next year’s event even better. We have already decided to make more Weekend Passes available, so that even more builders can display their awesome models and participate in the activities.
