For the ultimate World War Brick experience, we encourage visitors to purchase a Weekend Pass. This entitles the bearer to participate in all three days of exciting programming, the ability to display their creations, and get a  goodie bag filled with exciting loot. Programming for Weekend Pass holders takes place from 9am to 9pm Friday and Saturday, and 9am to 5pm on Sunday. Weekend Pass holders must be at least 15 years of age or accompanied by an adult parent or guardian who has also purchased a Weekend Pass. We limit the number of Weekend Passes sold each year to help guarantee a more enjoyable experience for all our participants. Weekend Passes have been known to sell out and we encourage advanced purchase to avoid disappointment at the door.

This is what the Weekend Pass entitles the bearer:

  • Ability to display your creations and be eligible for building trophies
  • Goodie bag with T-shirt, commemorative brick, raffle tickets, and more
  • A discount coupon good for your purchase at the World War Brick or GHQ stores
  • A seat on the charity auction held Saturday night, featuring donated rarities from our sponsors
  • The best raffle drawings of the weekend!

We are also creating a huge lineup of activities for Weekend Pass holders at World War Brick 2023. These include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Micro Brick Battle Tournament & King of the Hill Slug Fest
  • Skill contests for groups and individualsGroup mosaic builds
  • Weekend Pass Holder’s Yard Sale
  • Informative speakers on historical and/or building-related subjects
  • Access to exclusive items and deals at the WWB store

Charity Raffle Tickets

Ever since our very first World War Brick was held in 2012, we have dedicated each event as a charity fundraiser for Veteran’s Organizations. For the last several years, we have dedicated our event to fundraising for our local Minneapolis-based Mission Project.  Over the years we have raised tens of thousands of dollars through our activities, raffles, and charity auction. Each Weekend Pass holder will receive 10 raffle tickets in their goodie bag (you will receive it when you check in). These raffle tickets can be used at any of the various raffles throughout the weekend (hint: the raffles held during Weekend Pass–only hours have better prizes). You will also be able to use them for carnival games during public hours to win cool prizes, and as an entry “fee” for some activities. Additional raffle tickets will be available for purchase for $2 at the WWB store throughout the weekend, with 1/2 of the proceeds going to directly benefit our charity drive (the other half to keep WWB functioning).

World War Brick 2025 Activities

This page is very much a “WORK IN PROGRESS” and will be updated and added to as we approach World War Brick 2025

Benefit Auction for Mission Project

Benefit Auction Items

Just some of the items donated to the auction from a previous year. There’s also five different raffles, WWWINGO, a Prize Wheel to spin, Brickwood Derby Races, and more — meaning lots of chances to win great prizes!

World War Brick’s Saturday Night Benefit Auction has become a thing of legend!  We gather together the coolest items donated from our friends and sponsors and auction them off, with 100% of the proceeds donated to the Mission Project.

World War Brick has been dedicated to supporting our veterans since the first one was held in Chicago in 2012. Many activities such as the raffle and auction are specifically designed with fundraising in mind, with proceeds being sent directly to our designated charity. A Weekend Pass is required to participate in the auction, so make sure you have yours today.

WWB Hartford 2015

My 12 year old son convinced us to make the weekend trek up to Minneapolis from Kansas City so he could attend this. One thing I want to be clear on, the weekend passholder auctions, we have to use our 10 auction tickets for those as well? I’m actually good with that because if I’m understanding correctly we’re only entered in auctions we drop tickets for, not automatically entered in every weekend passholder auction? Looking forward to it next weekend!

There are five different raffles for Weekend Pass attendees throughout the weekend. Each raffle has several prizes and you drop your tickets into the bin associated with each prize. You can use your tickets in any of these raffles or use your tickets to participate in other games and activities. There are also raffles open to the general public during the public hours, which you can also particiapte in, but the weekend pass holder prizes are better.

The auction is a fundraiser where funds go directly to the Mission Project charity. It is a separate event that happens on Saturday evening and is only open to Weekend Pass holders.
