Event Kit Prototype Pictures Released
Brickmania and BrickArms are collaborating on the event kit for WWB Anaheim and have been releasing teaser pictures all week. Today we have seen some of the pictures of the actual event kit prototype released to Flickr. The photos shown here are likely to be the final design of the event kit, with only some slight variation in colors and additional printed elements. You can see earlier versions of the event kit on Flickr.
Included in each kit will be a Proto BA M249 SAW Light Machine Gun and exclusive printed crate for WWB Anaheim.
BrikWars – Zombie Apocalypse!
“The Megablox virus is running rampant throughout Bricksburg! Come and test your survival skills in the world of LEGO! Bring a minifigure that represents you and fight back the hordes of plastic! We just received a consignment of “proto” M249 (“SAW”) Light Machine Guns from BrickArms. These will be used in the exclusive World War Brick Anaheim event kit, which will be included free in the goodie bag for each Weekend Pass holder. In the event we don’t sell out of Weekend Passes, the remaining event kits will be made available to purchase by the public attendees. We’re Having a Robot Tank Tournament!
A points-based competition using a LEGO® MINDSTORMS® robotics system. Each player or team will control a Robot Tank that will complete a series of tasks, with double points for each task completed autonomously (i.e. without remote control). We encourage participants to create their own Robot Tank, but will have 2-3 robots available. Tournament map will be available for practice during any Open Game Play session on the schedule. Micro Tank Battle Tournament – Only at WWB!
We are holding a bracket style tournament of the fast-paced table top Micro Tank Battle game. Matches will be take between 30-45 minutes and winners of each battle will be eligible to advance to the next battle. As the battle progresses, new weapons will be introduced for an added twist. The Micro Tank Battle game can played by most ages and the outcome is determined by a combination of tactics and luck. All participants will receive on raffle ticket per battle played. The grand champion will receive a premium out-of-production Brickmania kit. Four randomly selected players will be eligible to participate in a bonus “King of the Hill” four-way battle for an additional prizes and glory! The tournament begins Friday morning and winners will advance through additional challenges throughout the weekend, with the Grand Champion crowned at the closing ceremony. BrickArms Announces ModCom @ WWB Anaheim
Every Weekend Pass holder at World War Brick Anaheim will have a chance to create (and keep) a special BrickArms ModCom weapon! Will Chapman will personally lead this activity and there is no extra cost to participate. You will have to sign up to one of four ModCom sessions to participate. Limit one ModCom per Weekend Pass holder.
