Activities Update For World War Brick 2024!

BRICKMANIACS! World War Brick week is HERE! We’re still putting the final touches on the official schedule, but here is an update with some of the activities you can expect throughout World War Brick weekend!

Here’s the rundown…

Parts Draft – Spider Tank (75361)

Scheduled for 10:00 AM Saturday in the Weekend Pass Bunker. You can purchase this set at the WWB Store. Purchasing the set is the entry fee, there are 15x slots available for this draft. LEGO drafting is when a group of people get together and part out a LEGO set amongst the members. The process can be done with any LEGO set and quantity of sets. The idea is that each person wants more LEGO elements of a certain type, but they want to avoid purchasing twenty copies of a single LEGO set to get them.

Scheduled for 10:30 AM Friday in the Battle Zone. You can purchase this set at the WWB Store. Purchasing the set is the entry fee, there are 25x slots available for this draft. The idea is that each person wants more LEGO elements of a certain type, but they want to avoid purchasing twenty copies of a single LEGO set to get them.

Risk Puzzle Build and Play

In place of a mosaic this year, we are building a massive Risk board! On Friday and Saturday Weekend Pass Holders will work to create the board and keep a tally of the sections they’ve completed – the person who completes the most sections will get a seat at the final showdown! The game itself will be played Sunday starting at 9:30 AM and will feature Brickmania Owner Dan Siskind and 5x other participants. Here’s how you can join in the game…

• Win the Weekend Pass Holder Raffle dedicated to the game
• Bid and win on any of the final 3x spots at the Weekend Pass Holder Auction

Build-A-Rando

Scheduled for 3:00 PM Friday and 10:00 AM Sunday in the Weekend Pass Holder Bunker. You can purchase Build-A-Rando tickets at the WWB Store. Each ticket entitles you to 1x Rando. Depending on volume of interest and available parts, limits may have to be implemented.

Buy, Sell, Trade

All day Friday in the classroom! Space is first come, first serve and all transactions must be stand alone! bring your custom builds, minifigs, sets, accessories, etc. and join fellow Brickmaniaics in expanding (or offloading) your collections!

King Of The Hill – Micro Brick Battle

Test your abilities against the best in a head-to-head King Of The Hill showdown! Sign ups will be available to Weekend Pass Holder starting Friday and if there is any room left it will be opened to the public come Saturday. Qualifying rounds will be played from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Saturday in the Battle Zone. The championship game will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, also in the Battle Zone.

Team Build – War Machine Mech Armor (76277)

Scheduled for 1:00 PM Saturday in the Weekend Pass Holder Bunker. You can purchase this set at the WWB Store, the set is the events entry fee. There are 15x spots for 2-person teams for this activity. You and a partner will race against other teams as one of you relays the instructions as the other builds. Win or lose, the set’s yours!

Speed Build – Space Construction Mech (60428)

Scheduled for 11:00 AM Sunday in the Battle Zone! You can purchase this set at the WWB Store, the set is the events entry fee. There are 15x spots available for this activity. Sign ups will be available to Weekend Pass Holder starting Friday and if there is any room left it will be opened to the public come Saturday. Go head to head with other participants and see how fast you can build! Win or lose, the set’s yours!

Paint Your Own BrickArms

Scheduled for 1:00 PM in the Weekend Pass Holder Bunker! Bring you own BrickArms and use paint from the Brickmania GHQ Store to customize your BrickArms! Cost is 1x ticket per participant. Tickets can be purchased at the WWB Store.

Blind Build – Gift Animals (30666)

Scheduled for 4:00 PM Friday in the Weekend Pass Holder Bunker! You can pick up your poly bag at the WWB Store, the kit is the entry fee. There are 15x slots for this event. Participants will compete against each other to build the kit as quick as possible but without being able to see the parts! Win or lose, the set’s yours!

In addition to all this awesomeness, we’ll also have the usual charity carnival, bingo, and auction. Plus, 3x presentations on Friday focusing on a wide variety of historical topics! We’ll see you this weekend in Minneapolis, MN!
